We are over the moon with several bits of good news! MECC has been granted £20,000 from EBC’s Community Infrastructure Levy to help restore the historical Meads Hall. We have also received fantastic support from Brewers who will donate all the paint for the redecoration of the hall. Meads Street’s newest trader, Sussex Audiology Centre, has demonstrated its community spirit with a £1,000 donation. This means that we have reached our £100,000 matched funding goal!!!
We are still fundraising though as we would like to install fittings and features including a fully kitted out kitchen, stage curtains and a new sound and video system to make the hall an even more attractive events venue.
